For many years we have made insufflators which blow carbon dioxide into the body during keyhole surgery to keep the cavity open so that a surgeon can get his implements inside and perform the operation. The insufflator is an essential medical machine that must not fail for if it did the patient would be trapped with an open wound and no way to complete the surgery. Reliability is the hall mark of our machines.

Holding open the cavity requires large volumes of carbon dioxide at low pressure. Injecting the same medical quality gas through a needle under the skin requires small volumes at high pressure. Although the amounts are different the need for careful control is the same. Therefore we already had the technology in production to serve the aesthetics market.

The CellSonic CellSufflator is a version of the insufflator made as a carboxytherapy machine to inject medical quality carbon dioxide under the skin to reduce fat and stretch marks. It can also be used to kill infections.

This technology is at least 80 years old having been discovered in France. It should only be used by a qualified therapist. Those qualifications vary from country to country.
